Seasons
Monthly tuition amounts are based on two seasons so each month is the same amount (tuition and belt testing costs are averaged over the period):
- School Year Season — nine months, September through May
- Summer Season — based on a summer session (typically June–July). Current school-year plans are on the Tuition page
Students may enroll at any time during a season. If a student cannot finish the season, see cancellation below.
Payment
- Tuition is paid in equal monthly installments, due by the 10th of each month.
- All classes are to be paid for whether attended or not. Students may make up a missed class at another of our locations when available.
- We do not offer a pay-per-class option.
- There are no refunds on tuition payments.
- Standard payment method is a PayPal subscription (or a custom PayPal invoice when needed).
- If tuition and any late fee are not paid by the end of the month, Akron Wing Chun / Victory Defense Systems may pause the student's ability to continue classes until the account is paid in full.
Cancellation of enrollment
We assume you will continue month to month after registering for a season. To discontinue enrollment, email us before the start of the new month. Without notice, the monthly tuition for that month is still due on the 10th.

New students are encouraged to commit to at least three months so you can fairly evaluate the training before deciding long-term.
Family / multi-student discounts
- Second family member: 10% off (applied to the lower tuition)
- Third family member: 20% off
- Fourth family member: 30% off
- Fifth and additional: 40% off
Multi-student plans not listed on the PayPal page can be set up via a custom invoice — email us.
Holidays and weather
We generally follow the local public school calendar for major holidays (Thanksgiving, winter break, spring break). For minor holidays, we often stay in session if the location is open; make-ups at a make-up may be arranged when possible.
For weather closings, we notify students by email. We may still hold class if conditions improve. Cancelled classes may be made up when possible.
Observing classes
Regular classes are closed to observers unless an instructor invites you. This keeps training safe and distraction-free. Guests interested in joining should email us first.
